Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of The Committee of 101, which is
nationally regarded as the premier college sports support organization. We have been
serving the University of Kentucky athletic programs since our founding in 1966 and
expect our members to uphold and respect the proud and professional heritage of our
organization. As a member of The 101, you will become the face of the UK athletic
programs to many fans. You will be the first person fans encounter as they enter Kroger
Field or Rupp Arena and therefore, the first impression fans receive of the University of
Kentucky. We expect our members to greet each fan in a professional manner and do
everything possible to ensure they experience a “once in a lifetime” fan experience as
part of the greatest fan base in all of college sports.

The Committee of 101 is a 100% voluntary organization. Once your application has been reviewed you will receive an over the phone interview by two of our membership committee members. They will ask you several questions to ensure that you have a full understanding of the membership requirements. Based on
those interviews you will be recommended to the Board of Directors for full membership
into the “blue coats”.

This is a brief overview of the duties and expectations of The Committee of 101. Prior to
completing your application, please review the following informational items and apply those to yourself and your ability to conform with the requirements of the organization.
